Le Lac d’Aiguebelette

The smallest of the four lakes of Savoie Mont Blanc is nestled in the hollow of the mountain of the Epine, in the Lake Aiguebelette. It welcomes you in a green setting conducive to swimming, healing and practice sports and outdoor recreation.
Located at an altitude of 360m, Lake Aiguebelette is, as Henry Bordeaux wrote, an “emerald pearl encased in a mountain setting”.
Its banks and its beautiful turquoise water sheet of triangular shape adorned with two small islands in the south have remained very preserved. Natura 2000 site, the lake has a remarkable ecosystem and protected natural areas.
